These photos were taken in Paris in late July 2002. The sunset picture overlooks Montmartre and Boulevard Rochechouart, and the black and white view is from the top of the Sacre Coeur.
The South of France
This photo is of an area in the South of France, called the Causse. This photo was taken in the Lot department, and shows the rolling virgin oak forest which stretches for 50 miles to the South and even further West.
These two photos show two of the castles of Mad King Ludwig of Bavaria - Hoehenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. Neuschwanstein castle was built as a monument to the works of the composer Wagner, who was a friend of King Ludwig.
